Foreman/Site Supervisor

Ceres Construction is a family run business that specialises in farm infrastructure development including groundworks, trenchless pipe laying, sleeper tracks, fencing, fabrication and everything in between. Due to continued and exciting growth, we’re looking for an experienced Foreman/Site Supervisor to join our construction team who are based in the Chester area but work across the UK.

You’ll lead a team that builds agricultural buildings where the work will be varied and may include preparing ground, laying concrete, setting posts and using timber and metal work.

The working week is Monday to Friday. Your daily hours can be 7.00am up to 7.00pm when working on site with shorter days when working locally. You may be based away from home up to 4 nights a week if the project is in another part of the country.

You’ll have an excellent knowledge of construction and ideally – agricultural buildings, either through working directly on a farm or by being involved in the construction of sheds, parlours and laying tracks. However, evidence of your construction experience is more important

as full training will be given for the right candidates.
